Eureka Clusters
What is Eureka Cluster?
Launched by the European Industry, EUREKA Clusters is a project support cluster created to develop strategically key technologies for Europe’s competitiveness. It is a tool to improve the industrial innovation and economic gains of both large-scale companies and SMEs.
Each cluster program under EUREKA Clusters leads to innovative, sectoral and pre-competitive R&D projects in its field. The presence of industrial representatives in the cluster programs plays an important and active role in the commercialization of the projects implemented.
Projects within the scope of EUREKA Cluster Programs are supported by each country’s own national authority. In this context, projects in Turkey are supported under the 1509 International Industrial R&D Projects Support Program.
Horizon 2020
What is Horizon 2020?
It is one of the Community Programs created by the EU to bring together the national policies and practices of the member countries in various fields. EU Framework Programs, like many other Community Programs, are multi-year programs designed for a certain period with their aims and budget.
Our country has been included in this program for the first time since the EU 6th Framework Program. The EU 6th Framework Program continued between 2002-2006 and was replaced by the EU 7th Framework Program covering 2007-2013. The program that is current from 2014 to 2020 is Horizon 2020.
